What am I obligated to do?
Members are not required to come to monthly meetings. Members attend as they can and help whenever they are able to. Everything is done on a voluntary basis.
We request that our members help at our annual art and craft show called Wonderfest, which is being held on 2nd Sunday of November. There are many capacities in which you can help and this is our only Fundraiser to raise thousands of dollars, which we donate to the community. We bake and frost 1000 cookies to sell at Wonderfest. The Cookie proceeds go directly to Caritas for Thanksgiving and is usually $1000.
We encourage members to sign up and help “hostess” one meeting during the year by bringing a soda or a snack.
We also sponsor a meal once a month at the Sparrow Nest, which is a local homeless shelter.
